No New Posts GATHERING STUMP

In the middle of the clearing where the wolves of Winged Rivers reside is a large stump of a once-huge tree. The big oak stump has now become a stand for the Alpha to call his or her meetings.

No New Posts PACK DENS

In the valley of Winged Rivers, there are dens crowded close to each other. If there's a flood, the wolves in each den can get to each quickly and easily to warn their pack-mates. The den where the pups sleep is furthest from the bank to protect the next generation.

This huge valley is what makes up most of the Winged Rivers territory. The wolves of the pack hunt here most often and chase of trespassers, as well.

The river of Winged Rivers territory curves gently around the valley, surrounded by reeds and pebble-beds. The wolves of this pack live near the river, settling as comfortably beside it as if the sound of the river wasn't there. Near the northern border of the river lies a beaver dam. Wolves are often eager to hunt here but rarely catch the intelligent swimmers.

No New Posts BATTLE ROCKS

South of the pack dens is a river bed with several sharp boulders. When the Alpha is challenged their position, the pack, the Alpha, and the challenger come to these rocks to fight. The wolf left standing after the other has stopped fighting - which might even be to the death - is the new Alpha.

Board Description
RIVER VALLEY

The wolves of Winged Rivers are nestled comfortably in a deep, secluded valley with a long, extensive river running all the way through it. Normally the weather is warm, with an occasional breeze through out the day. Rarely does snow fall here, due to the low altitude. Prey that can be found here include otters, hares, chipmunks, and moose.
